We created this bone-chilling campaign for Hulu’s horror series Castle Rock Season 2. The asset is a 13-minute live stream drive along a terrifying rural road, loaded with easter eggs for hardcore fans, which the team conceptualized, scripted, shot, and produced in-house.

Concept

To get fans of Season 1 excited about the brand new story-line of Season 2, we created a pre-produced "Live" video to show viewers leaving Castle Rock, and entering Salem's Lot, where the second season takes place. Along the way, are roadside signs ‘Now Leaving Castle Rock,’ ‘22 miles to Salem’s Lot,’ ‘Welcome to Salem’s Lot’, easter eggs via mile marker numbers, and objects on the side of the road that tell a story. Our driver tunes into WKIT 100.3 FM (co-owned by Stephen King) where the DJ gives a special shout out to birthday boy Stephen King, plus many more easter eggs for fans to find along the way. As the driver approaches Salem’s Lot, the car swerves, loses control, and crashes, to anticipate the distress about to come in Season 2 as we announce Castle Rock's new season
